I am truly honored that you are hear reading my little guide and considering working with me. I will throw my whole heart into documenting your day. Capturing beautiful, meaningful imagery while being unobtrusive so you can be living in the moment. Presence over performance, emotion over perfection. They way wedding photography used to be. If our values align I would love to document your day.

Philosophy


Your wedding day

is not a performance and

It's not a photo shoot.

 


My focus is on a different kind of wedding photography for a different kind of couple. Observational photography rooted in candid moments, with a focus on authentic versus posed. You won't spend your whole day posing for photos, you can be fully free to embrace the day as it is knowing that fun, playful, connect, and full of life images will be the result. Photos you can look back on that will bring you right back to moment and a day that you got to live. That is my goal.

How it works

The Process

STEP 01

Meeting & Consultation

We schedule a Zoom call to get to know each other! It is important to me to get to know you both and what is most important to you. Making sure we are a great fit ensures your wedding day will be everything your want ti to be.  It also helps me guide you through the best options to make for your wedding day a success.

STEP 02

Booking

We've met, were a great fit, its time to lock in your date! I do require that your wedding date be locked in with your venue before booking - once that's done, we'll sign a contract, pay the $3000 retainer, and you are officially booked. Check one big item off your wedding "to do" list!

STEP 03

Pre-Wedding Session

Leading up to your wedding, if you have added on an engagement, bridal, or outdoor boudoir session I will be in touch to schedule all those details with you. Where, when, what to wear, what time of year - I am here to help you have the best pre-wedding sessions possible. Post session, delivery time is 1-2 weeks.

STEP 04

Planning & Wedding Day

6-8 weeks before your wedding day, I will be working with you and your wedding coordinator to ensure your day is planned out to perfection, so you can sit back and relax on your day knowing you can leave every moment - from tiniest of details to your first kiss - to me!

STEP 05

Editing & Delivery

After your wedding day, now is when I really get to work! I meticulously process and store your photos and begin editing your images. Typically wedding photo galleries are completed in 4-6 weeks, and albums are delivered 2-4 weeks after your gallery.

Below are several full galleries of my work! These are real couples and real weddings and exact copies of the galleries delivered to my clients. I think it’s important to make these available to you so you can view a large scope of my work from lots of different style events. Wedding day coverage is tailored to my couple's preferences for their day.  For some couples that's some portraits and couple photos, even a few detail shot requests. For others, it's fully documentary, with no posed photos or staged details at all. Their galleries are a reflection of their requests.

FAQ

 

How do we book?

A signed contract and paid retainer of 50% of your collection total will lock in your date! The remainder is due 30 days prior to your wedding.

Are the travel expenses included in your packages?

Travel in and around the Baltimore area is included in all collections already! Locations outside of the Baltimore area may have travel fees, if your event requires a travel fee I would have told you in my initial response email :)

Do we need a second photographer?

While I am very comfortable shooting a wedding on my own having a second photographer adds another layer and an aditonal perspective! If you are not doing a first look, have multiple locations, or are getting ready in different locations then a second photographer might be a good idea but we can talk details over our call.

How much of our gallery will be film?

Film coverage is dependent on the coverage hours, weather, and events of your day. My primary focus is capturing key moments digitally first and film secondary. Weddings with a second photographer will receive more film coverage than if I am shooting solo since I can trust my second photographer is capturing important events digitally so I can focus more one film.

Can we customize any collection?

Absolutely! My collections are just what works best for many wedding but not all. I am happy to create a collection that works for you!
