The Experience
My work is rooted in documenting them as they naturally unfold on digital and film. Honest, observational storytelling focused on emotion, atmosphere, and the in-between moments that often become the most meaningful later on.
Not staged. Not directed. Just real life, as it happens.
What it feels like

Most couples describe the experience as calm and unobtrusive. I’m not there to shape and direct your day, I’m there to witness it.
You’ll likely forget the camera is even present, until you see your gallery and realize how much was quietly preserved.
The focus is always on presence, not performance.
I approach weddings through a balance of observation and composition: real moments, thoughtful framing, and attention to atmosphere and emotional connection. Digital and film are used throughout the day to create a layered, honest, and textured final gallery.
The goal is not perfection, but truth as it felt in real time.
The Proccess

.01 Inquiry + Connection
You reach out and share a little about your wedding. What you’re planning, what you’re excited about, and how you’re hoping it feels.
I’ll follow up with availability and a link to explore coverage options. If it feels aligned, we’ll set up a call to talk through everything in more detail.
2. Booking
Once you decide to move forward, a proposal will be created for your review. Once approved, your date is secured with a signed contract and retainer. From that moment, the experience is officially underway and you are booked!
3. Wedding Day Coverage
On your wedding day, I work quietly and intentionally documenting the atmosphere, emotion, and in-between moments as they naturally unfold.
There’s no pressure to perform or overthink the camera. You stay present in your experience while I focus on preserving it as honestly as possible.
4. Editing + Delivery
After your wedding, I carefully edit and curate your gallery to reflect the full emotional rhythm of the day.
You’ll receive a collection of images that feel honest, layered, and true to the experience — delivered in a private online gallery, ready to revisit and share.
“The photos perfectly captured the emotion of the day in a non-staged way. Looking through them felt like reliving the entire experience.”

Every wedding collection includes a consistent, intentional approach to documenting your day with care, presence, and attention to detail.

All collections include:

- Wedding day coverage tailored to your celebration (typically up to 8–10 hours)
- Digital and film photography throughout the day

- Personal use rights & print release
- Thoughtful timeline guidance and pre-wedding communication
- Sneak previews delivered shortly after your wedding

Additional coverage, engagement sessions, welcome dinners, and heirloom albums can be added to further document your wedding experience.
These are always shaped around your day and what matters most to you.
FAQ

Are you LGBTQIA+ friendly?
Absolutely yes. Love is love.
How long until we receive our photos?
I always deliver previews within 48 hours of your wedding day. The full gallery is usually complete at the 3-4 week mark.
Can we print our own photos?
Yup! You can print them anywhere you want. There will be a print release at the end of your gallery.
Do we get previews?
Yes! All of my couples get previews within 48 hours of their wedding day!
Do you take traditional family portraits?
Most couples still choose to take family portraits on their wedding day and I am happy to document whatever portraits you wish!
Do you take detail shots?
You put a lot of hard work into all the details of your day! They are part of the story and will be photographed. I usually photograph details in the context of your day as opposed to the more traditional layflat staged detail photos.
Do you shoot film or digital?
I shoot both! While I primarily shoot digital I shoot a few rolls of film throughout the day for a little film fun.
How do we book?
A signed contract and paid retainer of $3000 of your collection total will lock in your date! The remainder is due 30 days prior to your wedding.
How many photos will we receive?
Every gallery is carefully edited to reflect the full emotional rhythm and atmosphere of the day.
Do we need a second shooter?
I am very comfortable shooting a wedding on my own but sometimes it is nice to have a second photographer for that extra perspective! If you are not doing a first look, have multiple locations, or are getting ready in different locations then a second photographer might be a good idea but we can talk details over our call.
