As a long-time Maryland wedding photographer, I’ve zigzagged across every nook and cranny of our great state, camera in hand, capturing stories in some of the most amazing spots you can imagine. 1.T he Baltimore Engineers Club at the Garrett-Jacobs Mansion

If you're on the hunt for a wedding venue with historic mansion vibes but in the center of it all, then look no further than the Baltimore Engineers Club in Baltimore. Located right in the center of Mt. Vernon this mansion is beautiful outside and in! Every room in the mansion is completely different. With spiral staircases, gold trim, to a deep red ballroom with 20 ceilings, this place has everything. You can step right out the front door to the cobblestone streets of Mt. Vernon for plenty of beautiful outdoor photo opportunities too. This is one of my favorite "all in one" venues in the city, meaning you can get ready here too! No traveling from place to place on your wedding day, we love that. Definitely worth checking out if you are looking for a Baltimore City venue with an old money feel!

3.Frederick Douglas Maritime Museum

4.The George Peabody Library

This stunning library space is like something straight from a movie. If you are looking for a space that will make your guests jaws drop to the floor when then walk in then this is it! The library stacks are strung with string lights giving the whole space a warm romantic feel and the black and white marble floor makes a statement on its own. The George Peabody Library is located in the center of Mt. Vernon. There is no getting ready space there but there are many great hotels, like The Revival, with in walking distance. Which makes it a great spot for a party where no one will have to drive home! Outside of the Peabody Library is the Mt. Vernon square, the perfect spot for elegant couple photos.

5. T he Baltimore Museum of Art

The Baltimore Museum of Art (or BMA for short) is located in Downtown Baltimore and is the perfect spot for an upscale event for art lovers. The classic architecture makes the perfect backdrop for an elegant ceremony and reception. The main reception hall currently has a beautiful light installation overhead called "Star Dust" giving a warm romantic feel to the space. During your event guests can wander select galleries and enjoy the art too! I love this space for its clean classic elegant feel, it photographs beautiful and is a show stopper for your guests!
