As a Maryland wedding photographer who's all about those open-air vibes, I'm beyond excited to unveil my top 7 picks for outdoor wedding venues in our charming state. While there are tons of amazing local venues out there (and more popping up every day) these particular Maryland wedding venues are for couples looking for the perfect outdoor venue for their celebration. These are a collection of great yard games backyard-style venues, camping and summer camp wedding venues, garden wedding venues, or just venues with beautiful outdoor space where they can spend as much time celebrating outside as possible!

Just bring the lawn games and you are all set!
Strong Mansion is an amazing historic building with truly stunning gardens. The indoor space is classicly decorated with window light which is a photographer’s absolute dream. The outside space features multiple beautiful staircases, tree-lined walkways, a large pond, and artfully curated floral gardens. This is a great venue if you are looking for something a bit more upscale vibe but still has amazing outdoor spaces.
This is another location that is perfect for a full weekend wedding extravaganza. With 7 houses, totaling 31 rooms, available on the property there will be no shortage of spots for your guests to sleep. Nestled in the woodlands of Deer Creek Preserve the property has multiple cabins and camping locations for your tent-camping friends to crash, a large lodge, outdoor pavillions, amphitheater, there is even a swimming pool you can enjoy if you are having your event during the summer!
